From 1 to 30 March 2024, Owen was a Visiting Fellow in the Theoretical Sciences Visiting Program (TSVP) at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), Japan.
TSVP brings researchers from across disciplines to OIST for extended visits, intensifying collaborations within OIST’s interdisciplinary research environment — a chance to work alongside theoreticians outside ecology and bring some of that thinking back to the group’s own predictive work.
